How the Audit Process Works
Achieving ISO certification is a structured journey of continuous improvement. We partner with you at every stage to ensure a smooth, value-adding experience from start to finish.
Application & Contract
The process begins with an application from the organization. We review the scope of certification and provide a formal proposal and contract outlining timelines, costs, and responsibilities.
Document Review
Our experts meticulously review your management system documentation — Quality Manual, procedures, and records — to ensure they satisfy the requirements of the chosen ISO standard before the on-site audit.
Stage 1 Audit (Pre-assessment)
A preliminary on-site or remote audit to evaluate your organisation's readiness for the main audit. We identify any gaps, provide a detailed findings report, and agree on the Stage 2 audit date.
Stage 2 Audit (Main Audit)
A comprehensive on-site audit to verify the full implementation and effectiveness of your management system. Our auditor evaluates conformity against each clause of the standard.
Certification Decision
Based on audit findings, a technical review board independently evaluates the audit report. On successful completion, a globally recognized ISO certificate is issued for a three-year cycle.
Surveillance Audits
Annual surveillance audits (Year 1 and Year 2) ensure your management system continues to meet requirements. We provide clear pre-audit checklists to help you stay prepared.
Recertification
Every three years a full recertification audit is conducted to renew your certificate. Our team supports you through process improvements and documentation updates ahead of each recertification cycle.
